Welcome to the Department
Please join us in welcoming our newest officers Tim Connelly, Eliana Carino, Brandon Rucker and Nordia Henry to the Abington Township Police Department.
Tim was born and raised in Washington Township, NJ. He served as a Philadelphia Police Officer in the 14th District for six years prior to joining us. He is a LaSalle University graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Tim is married and has three children.
Eliana was born and raised in Philadelphia. She served as a Philadelphia Police Officer for two years prior to joining us. Eliana is bilingual. She is a graduate of Immaculata College with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and minor in Psychology. Eliana is an Army Veteran having served as Military Police at Guantanamo Bay.
Brandon was born and raised in Ambler. He resides in Elkins Park. He was appointed to attend the Montgomery County Police Academy for an intense 6 month training program. Brandon is also enrolled at Temple University. He is a self-employed Personal Trainer and is married with one child.
Nordia was born and raised in Philadelphia. She served five years as a Philadelphia Police Officer prior to joining Abington. She is a graduate of Wilmington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice. Nordia played professional basketball for three years in Lisbon, Portugal, Prague and Czech Republic.
