Theft from Vehicle: Senor Salsa: Old York Road

On June 28, 2016 at 1527hrs the below pictured van entered the parking lot of Senor Salsa located at 1301 Old York Rd in Abington Township.  The van backed into a space next to the victim’s vehicle and the operator exited the van.  The operator walked to the passenger side cargo area door and then back to the driver’s side of his vehicle.  He then smashed the driver’s side front door window of the victim’s vehicle and stole her purse from the passenger side floor.  The suspect returned to his van and left through the parking lot and fled north on Old York Rd.  The suspect’s vehicle appears to be a late 90’s-early 2000’s white Ford Econoline.  Anyone that can identify the suspect or is investigating similar incidents is asked to contact 267-236-1100 and choose option #3.
