At 9:00 am the Abington Township Police were called to Overlook Elementary School for a report of a missing juvenile, who ran from his mother just before school began. Several Abington Township Police officers, along with a Montgomery Township Police K-9 Unit, responded to the area to coordinate a search for the juvenile, later identified as Jordan Rowley. Second Alarmers Bloodhound Teams were also summoned to the area and assisted in the search for Jordan. A short time later a resident from Silver Avenue saw Jordan in his backyard, and with the assistance of Abington Police Juvenile Detectives, Jordan was safely returned to his parents.
