Burglary, 600 Block of Montgomery Avenue

Case 16-044511

At approximately 12:41 PM on October 26, 2016, a female resident was home and heard someone loudly banging on her front door.  The resident then saw the same man who she was able to describe walk down the side of her house and start banging loudly (kicking) on her rear, sliding glass doors.  The female resident became frightened and ran out of her house and a neighbor called 9-1-1.  Police responded and located the male walking in the 700 block of Cedar Road.  The Officer detained the male who was identified as 29 year old Michael Patrick WEIS whose last known address was in Philadelphia.  Through additional investigation it was determined that another home on the 600 block of Montgomery Avenue had been burglarized.  A brick had been thrown through a side window of this home and a laptop computer, coins and jewelry were stolen.  All of these items were found in the possession of WEIS when he was taken into custody.  WEIS was charged with burglary, theft and related offenses.  There was also an active arrest warrant for WEIS from Bucks County.
