Armed Robbery

At approximately 9:20 PM on January 7, 2015, the subject in the included photos robbed the 7-11 at 1837 Old York Road in Abington. The subject is described as a black male, 5’11” to 6’ tall, approximately 160 lbs., wearing blue jeans and a black hooded sweatshirt. He is carrying a small, black duffle bag, is wearing black gloves and is armed with a small, black (some silver coloring on it), semi-automatic handgun. The male approached the counter to make a purchase and then pointed the gun at the clerk and announced the robbery. The money was placed by the clerk in the small duffel and the subject fled on foot. Anyone with information about the identity of this subject or additional information about the incident should contact Abington Police at 267-536-1100. In an emergency always call 9-1-1.
