7-11 and Rite Aid Robbery Arrest

Robberies- Abington 7-11 and Rite Aid- Back on February 21, 2016, a male robbed the Rite-Aid in the Roslyn Shopping Center by reaching across the counter and grabbing money out of the register. On March 23, 2016, the same male robbed the Abington 7-11 by threatening the clerk to hand over money from the register. A surveillance photo of this suspect was posted on the APD Facebook and Twitter. On March 29, 2016, Philadelphia Detectives received information as to the identity of the suspect. Abington Detectives picked up the suspect in Philadelphia, and returned him to Abington, where he confessed to committing both robberies. The suspect was identified as 25 year old Kenneth Jenkins of Philadelphia. He was arraigned and transported to Montgomery County Prison.
