TRAINING PROGRAMS

The mission
of the Abington Township Public Safety Training Program is to provide
contemporary, cost-effective training to public safety professionals
as well as members of the local community.
 Public
Safety training seminars offered through this program are designed
to increase the knowledge, skills and abilities of police officers
and emergency responders, as well as to enhance officer safety in
today's unpredictable environment. Seminars for organizations and
businesses are designed to improve safety in the workplace as well
as to minimize business liability.
 Training
Programs are offered at the Abington Township Public Safety Training
Center. Our facilities include a large, comfortable classroom with
seating for up to 60 as well as state of the art audio-visual equipment.
Nearby target range facilities are available for firearms-based
law enforcement courses.
