Traffic Safe-T Program Begins June 1st

A MESSAGE TO MOTORISTS

FROM THE

ABINGTON TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPT.

 

Abington Township is conducting its Traffic Safe-T Program beginning June 1st. The program will end June 30th.This program is a community-wide initiative involving the Township board of Commissioners, the Township Administration and participating citizen and neighborhood groups. The program has two major components:

  1.  Driver Education
  2.  Increased Traffic Enforcement 

Residents may participate by placing signs, notifying motorists to slow down, on their lawn between June 1st and June 30th. Signs may be obtained by contacting your commissioner or the Abington Township Police Dept. Traffic Safety Unit at 267-536-1078.

On behalf of the children and all of the residents of our Community we are asking you to:

 SLOW DOWN!             DRIVE CAREFULLY!

                        OBEY OUR LAWS!
