Robbery: 7-Eleven Store, 1837 Old York Road, Abington

On July 21, 2016 at 5:01AM the pictured white male entered the 7-11 store located at 1837 Old York Rd in Abington Township.  The male was holding a small black knife.  The male’s face was covered with a black bandana and he was wearing black leather gloves and sunglasses.  The male demanded money from the clerk and fled the store with a small amount of cash.  A K-9 track showed the male fled on foot north on Old York Rd and then east on Maplewood to Lycoming Ave.  No one was injured during the incident.  Anyone that can provide information about the suspect or the incident are asked to contact Detective Robert Hill at 267-536-1101 or rhilljr@abington.org . In and emergency always dial 91-1-1.
