SPECIAL ALERT – RECOVERED STOLEN PROPERTY

On February 18, 2011 Abington and Philadelphia Police Departments served a search warrant at Lawndale Coins and Collectibles, 6322 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia.  Police believe that property stolen in burglaries during the past two years may have been sold to this business.  On February 18 Officers seized what they believe are some of those stolen items.  Although most of the expensive items of jewelry are already gone, there were many recognizable items of jewelry, jewelry boxes, and other items that were still there.  Photographs of all seized items are being posted on this Web page, www.abingtonpd.org as soon as possible and victims whose property may have been sold at this business will be provided instructions on how to view them.  To receive information on how to view the photos or for additional information on this case contact Tammy Gillispie at Abington Police Detective Division, 267-536-1114 or Liz Hertzog at 267-536-1115 during normal business hours.  You may also email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
