At approximately 4:30 P.M. on February 16, 2007, two males robbed the Willow Financial Bank located at 761 Huntingdon Pike in the Huntingdon Valley Shopping Center. The suspects entered the doors that face towards Huntingdon Pike. One stood in the customer area and pointed a silver colored, auto loading type handgun over the counter at the tellers while the other male walked into the manager's office. This suspect pointed a handgun at the manager and forced him to open the door leading behind the tellers' counter. This male then went through this door and behind the counter. The male in the customer area ordered all the employees to lie down on the floor and the male behind the counter placed money from the tellers' positions in a backpack he was carrying. Both males then exited the bank through the same door they had entered and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no injuries during the robbery.

The suspect who went behind the counter is described as a Black Male, approximately 6' 1" tall, weighing approximately 200 lbs. He was wearing light colored pants, a black jacket, a dark hooded sweatshirt with the hood up, and a dark scarf covering his face. He was also wearing black gloves and Timberland type work boots.

The suspect who remained in the customer area is described as a Black Male, approximately 5' 8" tall, medium build, wearing Timberland type work boots, a dark colored ski cap, a black sweatshirt or coat, a dark scarf with a design on it pulled over his face.

The case is under investigation by Abington Police and the FBI. Anyone with information about this case or who was in the area at the time of the robbery and may have seen the suspects is asked to call Abington Police at 267-536-1100 and ask for Detectives.
