EXAMINATION ANNOUNCEMENT
MONTGOMERY COUNTY CONSORTIUM OF COMMUNITIES
EXAMINATION - POLICE OFFICER

The Montgomery County Consortium of Communities, on behalf of their respective Civil Service Commissions or Municipalities, will be conducting a written examination for Police Officer on Saturday, March 15, 2008 at the Montgomery County Community College, Parkhouse Hall, 340 Dekalb Pike (Route 202), Blue Bell, PA 19422. Each person who submits an application shall report for registration at 8:00 a.m. on the day of the test. No one will be admitted after 8:30 a.m.

When reporting for the examination, each candidate MUST bring two (2), #2 pencils and photo identification. A Drivers License is preferred.

A single, unified preliminary application can be used to apply to any one, or all thirteen, of the following Departments: Abington, Bryn Athyn, Cheltenham, East Norriton, Hatboro, Hatfield, Limerick, Lower Moreland, Lower Providence, Norristown, Towamencin, Upper Dublin and Upper Moreland. Unified applications are available at any one of the departments or at www.abingtonpd.org.

A $25.00 administrative fee will be charged for each applicant. A CHECK OR MONEY ORDER IN THE AMOUNT OF $25.00 MUST BE SUBMITTED WITH THE PRELIMINARY APPLICATION. All checks or money orders must be made payable to: "ABINGTON TOWNSHIP POLICE DEPARTMENT". NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED.

Candidates will be provided 25 minutes, prior to the start of the test, to review Test Information Packets. No Study Guides will be needed for this testing process.
